There are a range of circumstances that mean someone might join the Priority Services Register. This includes a disability or medical condition, restricted mobility or a short-term injury, a mental health condition or neurodiversity, a sight, hearing or speech condition, being over 65 years old or having children under five at home.

Other companies that provide you with utility services will also have a Priority Services Register. This includes things like gas, electricity, phone and internet providers. If you are eligible for help from us, you can probably also get help from other companies, too.
We tell other trusted organisations like the National Grid when customers are on our Priority Services Register. This data sharing helps to make sure that customers get the right support.
